The Task Execution Parameters tab is used to manage the process of task execution, which includes allocating memory for Portfolio tasks and setting storage space for temporary Portfolio execution files.

Set Custom Task Memory is used to specify the size of memory allocated to the Portfolio task (in megabytes). If the first property is set to ‘No’ the default value is used1. You can change the memory size if the pre-defined one proves to be insufficient for your large task. Otherwise you will see the “Out of Memory” message when the task is being executed.

To do it, set the Set Custom Task Memory option button to ‘Yes’ and type your custom memory size value in the displayed Task Memory (in megabytes) box.

Set Keep Temp Content and Do not delete temporary files/tables option buttons define whether to delete temporary files and tables that are created when the Portfolio task is being executed. (“Set Keep Temp Content” allows Axiom system developers to analyze temporary files and tables.)

If the Set Keep Temp Content option button is set to ‘No’ the default setting is used2, and the Do not delete temporary files/tables property is inaccessible. You can change the pre-defined system behavior for your task.

To do it, set the Set Keep Temp Content option button to ‘Yes’ and override the default setting with the Do not delete temporary files/tables property (‘Yes’ to delete, ‘No’ to retain). (“Set Keep Temp Content” allows Axiom system developers to analyze temporary files and tables, if errors occur during the task execution process.)
