The Portfolio Viewer screen is used to view Portfolio task execution results and organize data of the resulting Portfolio instance after a successful Portfolio task execution. The screen is also used for filtering, grouping, drilling down, and performing other relevant actions, such as editing the Portfolio object, saving data snapshots, generating reports in various formats, and printing. 

The screen contains two expandable panels placed one under the other (see ‘1’ and ‘2’ in the following figure). The lower panel, the Worksheet panel, displays one or more worksheets storing the data while the upper panel, the Condition panel, is used to specify conditions to narrow down this data. You can change the sizes of the panels by dragging the border between them or by clicking the respective button () located on the border.

To open the Portfolio Viewer screen, do one of the following: 

  • In the Objects pane, right-click any existing Portfolio object, and then click View. 
  • On the Portfolio Setup screen, on the Actions menu, click View Portfolio. 
  • On the Portfolio Setup screen, click the View Portfolio toolbar button. 

When the Portfolio Viewer screen is opened, both the Condition panel and Worksheet panel are empty. 

To specify a required condition on the Condition panel, click the Insert new condition or grouping  button. 

To open a required resulting Portfolio instance worksheet, on the Worksheet panel, click the Select models/sources to show  button. Clicking the button opens a box containing a hierarchy (tree) of DataModel objects used in the current Portfolio execution task. 

To open a Worksheet panel related to a particular DataModel, select the respective tree node checkbox.
